How to prepare for your cleaning service
Hiring a professional cleaning service can greatly simplify your life, whether it's for your home, business, or Airbnb rental. Imagine returning to a clean house after a tiring day or saving valuable time by not having to clean your business or Airbnb yourself! Sounds good right?!
To maximize the benefits of your professional cleaning service, there are a few steps you can take beforehand. By preparing properly, our cleaners will be able to clean more efficiently and thoroughly.
1. Clear the floors
It is appreciated if you could do your best to pick up as many items off of the floor as possible; children’s toys, clothes, towels, shoes back in closets / racks. Having clear floors will enable your house cleaner to vacuum and mop efficiently so your home will be clean quicker.
2. Tidy up the counters
Kitchen counters, dressers, side tables and bathroom vanities are easily cluttered. Before your professional cleaner arrives, please do your very best to put away stray items (face and body products, brushes, notebooks, etc.) that are on any surface you would like cleaned.
3. Secure any pets (if required)
We love animals, however some pets are not sure about new guests, especially if the owner isn’t home. The sound of vacuums and the sight of mops can put unintended stress on your pet, especially if it’s a stranger holding them. If there is even a slight possibility of this we kindly ask that you separate your pets from the cleaners, or arrange for them to be out of the house at the time of the cleaning, whichever is most convenient for you and your pet.
4. Give specific instructions, if necessary at the time of booking
If there are any specific areas in your home that our professional cleaning staff should be aware of, or any task that is a requirement, it’s important that you let us know when you schedule your appointment. Communicating your wants and needs is the best way for you to get the service you’re looking for!
5. Put away valuables and important documents
We pride ourselves in our cautious and discreet services, however for your peace of mind please put away any important documents or items prior to our arrival.

This is totally up to you. However, it is much easier for the cleaners to get tasks done effectively and in a timely manner in a property if no one is in it at the time of the cleaning.
** Please note** Besides the home owners we expect that we will be the only people on the property. This means not having to work around or wait to clean because of movers, tradesmen or repairs to be completed. All time waiting due to interruptions in regards to these (but not limited to) are billable by the hour. We are not to be expected to let other services inside the property.

Most properties have fobs, or keypad entry systems. We also frequently get access by keys in a lock box located on the premises.
** Please note** If we cannot gain access to the property on the appointment date as set up by the owner the payment is non-refundable.

We preform background checks on all staff.
We are well-versed in using cleaning products and tools safely to avoid any damage to your property or belongings.
We maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
All doors and windows are locked double checked upon departure, alarms set if required.

A deposit is required to book. We accept credit cards, cash and e-transfers, payment is taken when the service is completed.

We require 72 hours notice for free cancellations or rescheduling.
48-24 hours notice is a 50% deposit fee.
24 hours or less is non-refundable.
